Does My child need speech therapy?
Are you having a hard time understanding your child? Is your child not talking as much as his/her peers? Is your child frustrated when he/she is trying to communicate?
A speech and language evaluation is the first step in determining whether or not your child needs speech therapy. During the evaluation, we will determine your child’s strengths and weaknesses, and assess your child’s level of performance relative to age-appropriate expectations. We will work with you and your child to create a communication profile of your child’s speech and language abilities and areas of need to develop an individualized treatment plan (speech therapy goals). We can also accept your child’s IEP (Individualized Education Plan) from school or current speech therapy evaluation (within the last year) to get started!
